The Membership Committee consisting of Mileva Hartman, Chair, Ann Rudd, and Loretta Reid participated in several telephone calls and email pollings as they conducted the business of Committee. Mileva Hartman was in regular contact with prospective new member organizations and several former members as they sought to reactivate their neighborhood associations. She continued to make efforts to interest more cultural groups to consider membership in the Federation. Committee members also provided assistance to the Banquet chair with the Annual Awards Banquet.
Four organizations were voted into memberships during this fiscal year. They are:
1. Black Oak Cluster Community Association (November 1, 2011)
2. Madison Manor Citizens Association (readmitted June 5, 2012)
3. Long Branch Creek Civic Association (readmitted November 1, 2011)
4. Waverly Hills Civic Association (readmitted June 5, 2012)
Two organizations were dropped as of February 1, 2012 for nonpayment of dues. They are:
1. Arlington Historical Society
2. Delta Kappa Gamma
As of June 30, 2012, the Federation consists of eighty-three (83) member organizations. A complete list is attached and has been submitted the County Board for information (attachment A).
The Chair maintains the delegate roster and monthly attendance records, updates the email/communication directory, and informs the County on contact information of neighborhood civic associations. A summary of attendance/representation by organizations at the monthly program meetings is attached (attachment B).. Delegates are requested to sign-in, but not all do, so the accuracy of this summary chart is subject to error. Eleven member organizations had delegates present at all 10 monthly program meetings:
